Improving the bond strength of bioactive glass coatings obtained by atmospheric plasma spraying

Thermal Spray Center recently published a research paper on Surface and Coatings Technology. The article deals with different strategies to increase the bond strength of bioactive glass particles. For this, different powder morphologies and heat treatments were investigated. Some of the methods provided notable enhancements for the adherence of the coatings.
