Thermal Spray Center recently published a research paper on Surface and Coatings Technology in collaboration with Instituto de Cerámica y Vidrio (ICV-CSIC). The article deals with a new bioactive glass composition with promising results for bone implant applications. In this study, the mechanical and in vitro properties of the new coating were evaluated. The results revealed the great potential of the new composition.
