Our group participated in the “Congreso Nacional de Materiales – CNMAT 2024” national congress organized in Malaga. At CNMAT, the latest advances in materials research and development in Spain are presented and discussed. Our group was lucky enough to share our research advances in five oral presentations, which included different fields in thermal spray:

• Cold Spraying as an additive manufacturing technique for industrial sectors
• Analyzing the effect of gas type in Cold Spray deposition (mixtures of nitrogen and helium)
• Impact on coatings properties by the incorporation of graphene in Cold-sprayed titanium coatings
• High entropy alloys manufactured by Mechanical Alloying and deposited using the Cold Spray
• Powder recovery system for reuse in Thermal Spraying
