Our research group the Thermal Spray Center (CPT), has obtained the new TECNIO certificate for the next period 2020-2023. This certificate is given by Agència per la Competitivitat de l’Empresa -in English, Enterprise Competitiveness Agency (ACCIÓ), a public institution of Generalitat de Catalunya which is focused on promoting the innovation and internationalization of enterprises in Catalonia.

The main purpose of TECNIO certificate is identificating and giving visibility to the R+D+I developers that offer some remarked technological capabilities, as well as being able to transfer them to the enterprise sector. For this reason, ACCIÓ works as a connecting link between research and enterprise through three main goals:

• To increase competitiveness of catalan enterprises, boosting the technology developers like CPT.

• To improve the brand positioning and services worldwide.

• To strengthen the catalan enterprises.
