Thermal Spray Center recently published a research paper on Advanced Engineering Materials in collaboration with different international institutions: Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, the University of Newcastle, the University of São Paulo and the Research Group in Structures and Mechanics of Materials (REMM) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

The article deals with the effect of heat treatment on the characteristics and properties of coldspray additive manufactured 316L stainless steel employing traditional and a newmetal knitting strategy.
